Re: Rooney - awesome
Rooney is playing for the worst place team in MLS, MLS = League 2 = BS, these are to of the worst teams in that league, top teams in MLS are championship standard.

Re: What do you think about our Transfer Window?
Reported at the Leeds end that he tipped up and upped his wage demands. You make it sound like he was an unwilling pawn in asking for £50kpw to mask the bad taste of joining Leeds. None of us know the full details of Clucas and Vydra but they appear more similar to me than they are different. UTC! ...

Re: What do you think about our Transfer Window?
Not really an improvement on the starting 11 as such, but some depth added. Time will tell whether Vydra will be the answer to our number 10 role, and I don't think Gibson will start regularly anytime soon. The wide options look an area of weakness, depending how Brady recovers, but at the minute w...

Re: New bid for Jay Rod
But we have Vydra as a no 10,if we have to choose between Jay and Bolasie,i'd tend to favour the latter as a more pressing concern. Wages could be an issue but if we save 2-3 million on the transfer, this could go towards a decent signing on fee for Yannick. Fair comment..just hard to tell his poten...

I can see his value in the no 10 role, especially for us however his stats don't back him up for a striker at that valuation.

Players will want roughly around what the transfer fee will be over the course of their contract. Which is perfectly understandable imo. Not sure this holds true for us...Chris Wood as an example...so 15 million for four years for Wood, works out over 70k per week, he is on 35k pre bonuses, so if t...

It really was once in a life time opportunity and again luck was with them with an early goal..one more goal in the first half and they would most likely made the final...so disappointed more than usual as I don't expect to see a shot like that again.

All I can say is we now have executed a penalty shoot out well and have the monkey off our back. Open play simply was not good enough and will not be against a decent team. They have plenty to work on however it will come down to smaller margins now and how they deal with the pressure. Even against ...

Re: From what you have seen so far in the world cup,how would Burnley's best eleven do ?
I think we could take on the minor teams with a good chance of results. C Wood is a far from world class striker and he know he is not however he scores consistently at the minor international level given his physicality. So if our defece holds and Barns and Wood up front..we could eek out some resu...

Yeah, a little off on price. Good on Wood, he has worked hard and I think it is an amazing result for a him moving into the EPL. Although for me Dyche and the management team have made him a better player.
