Re: Wouldnt the premiership be more exciting if top 6 buggered off ?

Without the current tv money how the heck could we compete with the likes of leeds, forest ,derby etc never mind most of the other 14. It would be like the 80s and 90s again where the big city clubs had a huge advantage over the rest of us. It's the sky money that has enabled us to hold our own in th...

I always get terribly confused coming on here. Every year our transfer dealings are absolutely terrible but somehow we seem to have ended up with a squad that looks well capable of keeping us in the premier league for a fifth consecutive season. How did we get here?

Looks a very decent signing. We let a 33 year old reserve left back go and bring in someone 3 years younger. If he has the same attitude as Phil Bardsley he will fit in fine. Can’t see any reason to criticize the club here. Now if we were looking to start the season with that dynamic duo of Charlie ...

Really enjoyed that and love all the northern accents. 11 of the 14 players were northerners and I didn’t see one dive all match. Proper football but we need to cut out the sloppiness at the back because going forward we look good enough to win it.
