Soft rock at it's finest, and as Ian says some beautiful songs from Ray Thomas.

The one season we had in the Championship under Jimmy Mullen was when I first took my lad, just shy of his fifth birthday.
He spent most of the game asking when would we be going home, apart from when we scored and everyone stood up to cheer.
The noise shocked him so much, he burst out crying. :D

Ten years on and memories sometimes become a little foggy, but my mate (who sits next to me) and I always had a little wager when Eagles was through one on one with the opposing goalie. Very much like Bobby Moore's style of tackling, not overly blessed with pace but immaculate timing and reading of a situation more than compensated.

Sure we play long balls (who doesn't?),but it's a bit unfair to say we don't pass it around.
And with all due respect, under Graham Taylor Watford were one of the original long ball teams.
