Re: Burnley v Brighton - Player Ratings
Muric 3 Other than the schoolboy error, which I will never understand, he was actually having a fantastic game... minus 4 or 5 for the error. Assignon 6 solid. Will still be playing in the Prem next year. With or without us IMO Ekdal 7 Excellent. Very poised. If he can overcome his injury curse, he ...

Re: Odobert
What a lot of people miss with Odobert is how much room for improvement he has. He is still incredibly raw. If he can add better awareness, and a little more game IQ to his game he really is going to be a fantastic player. Unfortunately, right now he gives the ball away far too much and is wasteful ...

Trafford 7* Decent. Yes his distribution is not much better than Pope's but his handling is much better than Muric's. Very surprised to see him getting pelters from some fans after the game. People forget how divided the general view of Muric was last year. Teams defend high and the quick option is ...

Having just received my replica shirt... only thing I'd change is the collar. Would be great, if only it had a button. Not really comfortable around the neck. Otherwise, a good effort. ...and yes white shorts are better.

Re: Your biggest sporting achievements?
Scoring for my youth team against Blackburn Rovers' Under 16 team will always be the zenith of my underwhelming football "career". 8-) Our 1-1 draw saw them drop their only points of the season. Quite why they had a team in the local league will always be a mystery. Before Jack Walker's money, I gue...

Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
If O 'Shea comes off then what has pleased me is how quiet it was kept, leaving no chance for another club to try to get him. Seem to recall many of our signings happened this way last Summer. Means the regular stories and rumours about players, particularly those playing in the UK ie Gyokeres, Cla...

I am sure whatever kit we have next season will be perfectly acceptable... if we keep the same sponsors! That was the biggest difference this season in my opinion. No junk gambling sponsor. Would love to have them back for the Premier League!

Is this a sly dig at the awful commentary team on some streams on Saturday? One commentator called Churlinov "Churnilov" the whole game. Actually thought Churlinov did OK, tbh. I thought the same... however I think you'll find that his shirt was spelled wrongly. I could be wrong, but it looked like...

I thought "Terry"(Dakhil) had a great game for his first start. Made one Tarkowski style tackle and generally looked very solid. Churlinov shows little glimpses of his talent. He really needs to dominate in one of these games. More game time will benefit him greatly. Bastien is a solid back up who d...

Norwich would be crazy not to go for Dyche. Promoted from the Championship twice. Kept a moderate side up for several seasons. It's a no brainer. Hope they go for Bruce. Can't see it working if they do. He'll only ruin his Norwich legacy.

Muric 6 +1 for the pen save. Usually, a fan but flapping at everything today. Roberts 7 played decent, red card should be overturned. Refereeing is a thankless job, so I don't usually complain too much, however.... what an appalling referee  . The lad has to go for the tackle on Twine... it was completely reckless. The red card that is given is also appalling. Roberts gets nowhere near it. Maybe one of the few instances whe...

Muric 5 Made three Pope style saves which gives me some hope. Very risky distribution which ultimately cost us. I love the quick movement of the ball and most of his passes are good. But you can't pass to a player under pressure on the edge of your own box. Still think he'll come good. Roberts 5 On ...

net spend includes assets purchased but doesn't factor in what those assets are worth. Go through their squad, there's easily another £200m+ of assets, add in the potential £50m sale of Ben White. They didn't spend money on players and just instantly lose that money, it's an investment. Webster £30...

Hoping Tom Stays. He really helped keep us up last season and is by far the best organizer at the back for us. Pope 6 bar one good save he didn't have much to do. Doesn't inspire confidence like Heaton but a good young goalkeeper learning his trade. Punches a bit weak and distribution was often ponderous and off target. Darikwa 5 looks a shadow of the player that started last season. Short on confidence and ...
