Yeah, I don't think this will be ratified as a world record because of technical rules to do with the pacers, it was more an attempt just to have someone run sub 2 hours.

As you say, incredible time, and you're right, it is pretty much sprinting for 26 miles.

Another for Barnes v Palace. The Arfield winner v Everton was a spectacularly brilliant moment, but the big sweep upfield, the instant where Barnes played a bad ball and it felt like the chance had gone, to a moment later the ball being in the back of the net was sublime.

It's not written anywhere yet, presumably it will be a part of the manifesto and we'll all be able to see. However, if the entitlement doesn't rise it would defeat the purpose somewhat and (rightly) make Labour vulnerable to arguments about telling people when they can and can't have their days off ...

No, your statutory entitlement would increase to 32 days.

So, you would have 20 days plus 12 bank holidays paid. An extra 4 days.

Not if the Statutory Holiday entitlement is increased by 4 days to make it 32 rather than 28. Presumably that would be the mechanism used rather than to just take holidays out of existing entitlements.

Amusingly, they sold a load of season tickets last year with a pledge that if they don't make the play offs they'll refund 25% of the cost of the ticket. 50% if they sold more than 15,000.

Could be a very expensive defeat for them that today.
