I just wish we’d let him fully concentrate on his natural game, attack full backs and not worry too much about the defensive side of it.

It’s hardly like Dyche’s club managers asked him to be something he’s not - a marauding centre half like Franz Beckenbauer for instance.

Fairly simply, because being coked off your head is illegal, not only in sport but in life.

It doesn’t give you any sporting advantage, though. It’s not a performance enhancing drug like steroids, for example.

They should definitely ban heading in football sooner rather than later.

It does far more damage heading a bag of wind than it does being punched or kicked in the head like in boxing or MMA.

We do need him back and I hope he gets offered and signs a new deal, but he’s looked past his best for a while for me.

I know it’s gone but if it was a choice of keeping one of Hendrick or Cork, I’d have preferred it be Hendrick.

To lose both for nothing would be a disaster, though.

He’s not right in the head and is about League 1/2 level now.

I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but it’s flabbergasting that both us and Aston Villa gave him another chance in the Premier League only last year. He was so far off the standard required it’s almost comical.
