Couple of Wednesday fans at work I was chatting to the other day, said that Rovers had given them an inital 7,000 tickets - when those sold out, they gave them another 1,000 - when those went, they were offering Hospitality lounges galore. Weird they didn't want money last season when they weren't i...

Thanks for that Dan, I knew I had it in my head that he'd been with us. I think for a short while, when he stepped up a year, he was playing central midfield with Callum Styles. Probably the smallest central midfield you could ever field, but their technical ability and decision making made them ve...

Why do we need a government policy for something that's optional to engage with?
If you want to donate, do it. If you don't, then don't. Surely you don't need a government policy to make that decision?

Wasn't he in our academy at some point? From the age of 7 until 14, then sold for a very small fee, when Man City and Man Utd were fighting over him (having chosen not to sign him when he was young, because he was too small). Went to Man City from 14 to 16, where they released him for being too sma...

Is Branthwaite a dour old pro now at 21?
Is McNeill a dour old pro at 24? Mykolenko at 24? Beto at 26? Garner at 23? Onana at 22?
I mean, there’s loads you can dislike about Dyche’s approach….. but bringing the balance makes your points a bit more valid.

Steven will be able to get this operation funded through the pfa. I would suggest he contacts them to enquire. Every player who has played professionally and been a pfa member is entitled to monies for medical or educational needs. I think, reading a previous announcement from Steven, that the PFA ...

18 games played….. 1 result achieved, and very little excitement in the other 17 games. Average players scoring massive runs, bowlers getting no assistance in anything….. a pointless 72 days of cricket all round to be honest. At least the Manchester monster munch will get to represent people from Ma...

Stood on his heel, but I think ref gave it for second one and then got off the hook by way of the first one being the actual foul. Sky making out that he was playing advantage and brought it back for first foul, but there’s no way you play advantage when the ball is then played back out of the box....

How’s Everton’s fitness, effort and togetherness looking tonight?
Absolutely terrible, but still enough to get 65%
More points than burnkey have this season.

Brilliant game..... and watching the referee's performance shows how poor the standard is in the premier league... he's been on top of everything - not fallen for the play acting, or the gamesmanship - just in control, and spot on.

There has been a spouting of players with double barrelled surnames over the last few years. What I have found strange is how many of them have a surname for a christian name. TRENT Alexander-Arnold BAILEY Peacock-Farrell TAYLOR Harwood-Bellis KEANE Lewis-Potter JONSON Clarke-Harris(P’boro) CONNOR ...

Apparently they’ve already contacted Gifton Noel-Williams, and he’s going to head over tomorrow and take a few penalties…. Said he’ll have that bit of metal down in no time. That’s what you call efficient.

Most fans moved to the Fanzone to watch the 2nd half, hopefully with free food and drink to compensate for the disruption.
Some fans have found spare seats in hospitality or elsewhere in the stand apparently.

You can pay on the day. Trains aren’t as big as some of those in the UK, but I’ve never had a problem getting a seat whilst travelling up and down the country here. Cork trains pretty much run on the hour, every hour from Heuston.

Screenshot_20240327-190136~2.jpg This is from the Ireland v England Euro 92 qualifier. Unfortunately only 4 Burnley connections made it to the selected 16: Chris Woods, Lee Dixon, Gordon Cowans and Paul Gascoigne. There was a tantalising teaser on the bench, but it was Gary Stevens and not Trevor S...

Why?
I don't pay ever increasing prices to watch a football match in order to listen to a baby crying.
Does a baby crying stop you from seeing the game? We all have personal preferences that being in a crowd requires us to be tolerant to others.

Rice and Mainoo as holders.
Toney, Watkins as striker backups
Bowen, Rashford and Grealish as backups in behind.

Five current or former players on the pitch in Dublin tonight.... Cullen, Collins, O'Shea, Brady and Amdouni.
When was the last time this number or more were included in a single international?

I remember a cup game there - mid 2000's probably... conservative estimate is that Burnley had 11,463 corners that game, but had to rely on penalties to get them through, after a nil nil draw.
I think the fans were chanting "Ooh It's a Corner" to the tune of the fabled George Oghani song.

Been a class act in every spell he has had with the club. I still don't think we've replaced him (I know some argue with still not replaced Deary). Found it strange that Dyche didn't play him more in the relagation season, and surprised he's not been used at all this season either. Yes, he may have ...
