Likewise , though footwork is becoming an absolute prerequisite in the modern game and pretty much all of the cat 1 and 2 academies released keepers at the end of this season from u12 up if the footwork wasn’t “ there” . You have the Italian and Spanish leagues often “ choosing “keepers from the 13...

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS (MUST CONTAIN LINK)

I agree that Tom is technically the better keeper and he is my favourite of the three. But, we conceded a number of late goals last season which didn't happened less when pope was in goal because his size commanded the area in those periods of extreme pressure. His ratio of goals conceded supports t...

Re: Tom Heaton

Letting Tom go is a business decision that coincides with his desire to leave. If we give him a 3 year contract he will be worth nothing at 37 and he may spend the next 4 years sulking on the bench. He has been a great servant so if we don't fancy a 4 year term, let him go with our best wishes The o...

I think Heaton is our best keeper right now, and certainly my favourite. I think Pope is likely to become our best keeper very soon. Heaton will have little or no value in three years. I don't think the order you play at this stage has any bearing. You need to be lucky, ie avoid all their good streaks of form. If you play the top six when they are having a wobble or lower teams when they are on a losing streak you get lucky If you play either of them when they are on top form you ...

Not easy. I would recommend parking at Media City or the Lowry Theatre car park.

Both should go and we should get in another reasonable BACK UP keeper. Hart - Thanks for trying and stepping in when Pope and Heaton were crocked, it didn't work out sorry, good luck. Pope - Are we a team that can afford to leave 15million+ salable asset on the bench for potentially a whole season?...
