I was under the impression that one of Sean's requirements before any signing was to research the players lifestyle !
If it's true what's been said then clearly Drinkwater must be in breach of club rules and should therefore have his contract with us terminated with immediate effect.

I dint think it was harsh. They were far superior in every department. The pace throughout their team just left us behind. They new exactly what our tactics would be and set up accordingly. Something I picked up on at the weekend regarding VAR. I was watching the Norwich v Chelsea game and after 'that' penalty incident for Chelsea (which imo was clear and obvious) the commentary team went over to ex ref Peter Walton who stated that there was a directive now in place for VAR that works...

Funnily enough I looked at some "pre owned" watches today at a jewellers in Yarm, mostly Rolex. One thing I did notice was that they all come with a certificate of authenticity and the original box which I'm told gives them more value than without them.

I thought our defenders did a superb job on Ings and Adams. Before kick off I was more concerned about Redmond after last seasons visit but again I give credit to the defence. Thought Pieters was outstanding, not the quickest but a good solid performance who doesn't take any prisoners.
