Re: Controlling the ball with the sole of the foot
I wonder if our goalkeeping coach will ask them to cut it out. Muric is skilful enough to trap the ball with the inside of his foot in a split second and then pass it.

We’ll be fine with these officials. We just need to get on the front foot from the off. This is an excellent game to bring Benson on and give him at least 30 minutes.

They might at some stage be prepared to sell but I would have thought we’d offer no more than £12 to £15 million and at that figure I would be tempted.

I agree with the three positions required. I’ve not really been impressed with a good number of Kompany’s signing along with his tactics on numerous occasions. I do wonder if he often over thinks things. Anyway he’s earned the right to have another go at it. I would imagine though we’ll need to get ...

I’ve criticised Foster on this post perhaps unfairly but the real culprit is Kompany. His team selection including substitutions is shocking. For a man of his intelligence, experience as a player it’s absolutely baffling.

He should have been hooked 10 minutes into second half. He had an absolute mare. I do feel sorry for the lad but BFC have to come first and I think he needs dropping. I do wonder sometimes the thinking of Kompany. Throughout the game Foster looked lost out on the right, when he had the chance to shoot he passed it, he looked way off it. No I’d stick with him and show him some loyalty. It’s easy to remember the howlers and forget the saves, the passing and the ones where he has taken control of the high balls in his box.

“get stuck in”. Unfortunately I don’t see enough of that in our current squad.

We’ve already got a good right back. I’m surprised the board would agree anything at this stage. I would have expected some players to be sold beforehand. I can only assume if it’s correct that an agreement now was to avoid him being snapped up before the season end.

To be honest regardless of whether they receive a further deduction or not I really don’t think it will help us. Had we beaten Wolves then maybe. Plus it’s a very tough ask expecting us to beat them on Saturday. Dyche will have his team well organised that’s for sure.
