Very sad to hear this news. Like a good number of us seniors I had the pleasure of watching Taffy from his early days and again on his return some years later. I wonder if our goalkeeping coach will ask them to cut it out. Muric is skilful enough to trap the ball with the inside of his foot in a split second and then pass it.

We’ll be fine with these officials. We just need to get on the front foot from the off. This is an excellent game to bring Benson on and give him at least 30 minutes.

I agree with the three positions required. I’ve not really been impressed with a good number of Kompany’s signing along with his tactics on numerous occasions. He should have been hooked 10 minutes into second half. He had an absolute mare. I do feel sorry for the lad but BFC have to come first and I think he needs dropping. I do wonder sometimes the thinking of Kompany. Throughout the game Foster looked lost out on the right, when he had the chance to shoot he passed it, he looked way off it. Why did we not bring on Benson in his position, it’s baffling. I do think Kompany being the intelligent man he is occasionally o...

No I’d stick with him and show him some loyalty. It’s easy to remember the howlers and forget the saves, the passing and the ones where he has taken control of the high balls in his box.

You’re right Clive. I was hopeful they would scrap VAR but it’s not going to happen. To be honest I haven’t felt for sometime the excitement I used to feel before games, even under SD I’d lost a bit of that spark, probably my age. Perhaps next season will change my view, I hope so.
