Really? Not a single downside? I presume you think the reduction in funds going into the club would be the major downside. I honestly think football in the long run would be better if a lot of the money goes out. We only need £xhundred million turnover to pay ludicrous wages to very average players.

I wouldn’t like to live in Spain, so out of the big hitters it would be PSG, Bayern or Utd/City/Chelsea

Possibly one of the Milan clubs also, but definitely wouldn’t like to live in or around Rome

I used to think the standard of driving was poor in the U.K. until I started driving regularly in mainland Europe.

In Italy lanes seem to be optional, in Benelux they all drive 2 inches from each other, Paris is one big race in traffic

I'll just add that I deal with the financing of large takeovers everyday, and have done for the past 8 years, and from the information we have available I think things look very bad for the club. That isn't to say that things won't change for the better, but recent history of deals like this suggest...

We didn't sign anyone because a) we don't have the money for transfers b) there was no one available that we could pay the wages to and c) we don't really need anyone.
