Of the last 19 referendums held in Europe (before 2016) only 2 were upheld without further public votes, or were not upheld at all.

Referendums aren’t, and never have been binding, so please don’t think that it is written in stone that we still MUST leave. That’s not how a democracy works.

I suspect last night was the beginning of the end of brexit. I think we’ll end up with another referendum before too long which will be No Deal or Remain.

It’s been proved over the last 3 years that an acceptable deal isn’t possible, and no politician can push through a no deal without a mandate.

If we're talking ale, I do like a Moorhouses Premier (especially in the New Inn Clitheroe).

It depends when you listen. Danny Kelly’s European football show is great, and I also like Max and Barry on a Sunday morning.

But if you listen to Alan Brazil (when he decides to turn up) or Adrian and Goughy then I agree with your original post. Oh, and the less said about Jim White, the better.
