Talk about doom and gloom.

We started 5 points clear of 18th. Despite not playing we’re still 4 points clear.

Re: Jeff Hendrick

Part of Leicester’s game plan, particularly first half, was to close off our left and encourage us to go right. There was acres of space down our right side. Leicester had done their homework and we created very little from the right hand side all game. Hendrick is a good utility player and had some...

He’s been a decent utility midfielder. Doesn’t excel at anything in particular enough to nail down a starting berth when everyone is fit, but he’s contributed plenty during his time with us.

Re: How can we stop this downward spiral and survive this season?

Personally I'd say the real issue is the lack of first team signings over the past few years. We have too many players who have been playing at the peak of their ability and there is only so long that you can keep that up week in and week out. You can't expect to maintain the same levels of effort ...

I was under the impression, perhaps mistakenly, that he had been brought in to address the issues we have with recruitment. That article reads to me as though we are just exactly where we were. I’ve seen a lot of criticism of Rigg this last week.

I don’t know how our recruitment system works, but our problems and challenges are not new. There are common factors in our ongoing struggles and Rigg hasn’t been here long enough to be one of those factors.

Hardly surprising and which club would want to send players here now after that? This is my problem with our last three transfer windows. We’ve been unable to improve on what we have.
