You can start the bidding at £20m. Pocket change for you chaps. ;)

Or we'll take £15m and a 20% sell-on.

Re: Aberdeen fans after the game - what a credit

Please don't take anything written on Aberdeen forums as representative of the Aberdeen support. Especially Afc Chat, which is populated either completely by trolls, or is a shocking indictment of the lack of mental health care in Scotland.

Re: Scottish football is a joke

If Aberdeen play like this when the likes of Dundee come calling, I'll plait dog doo. It's cup tie football. Seen it all before when we've been on the receiving end. I hope you've got gloves :? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7R4hyrbTp_M" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ;) Edit: I'll ...

Re: Just a quick word on Chris Sutton

Best bit of the punditry was when Sutton and Hartson both seemed to agree that it was never a penalty, which I can agree on, however they were talking like it mattered....we scored anyway, so made zero difference, if anything it gave Aberdeen more of a chance. You have to understand, that Sutton's ...

Re: Thank you Aberdeen

I.e. Football as it used to be / should be in every league. The money side doesn't make it any better for the majority of fans, and its getting worse. I used to dream we'd one day buy a £1m player now folk on here are daily crying that we're not throwing £30m around like its ten bob. I preferred th...

Re: Burnley v Aberdeen - Player Ratings

This is compared to the limit of what I could ever expect from them indivdually. Lewis 9 Logan 7 Devlin 7 Hoban 9 McKenna 6 (expect higher standards from imo) Considine 9 (never expect much) Shinnie 9 Ferguson 10 Mackay-Steven 8 McGinn 5 Cosgrove 7 Expectations aside, on a FM scale of 6 is the start...

Re: Gary Mckay Steven-Aberdeen, wish he was a claret.

Thank you, brilliant summation of a player, you know your stuff. I make it my prerogative to know about all our players. If you want a talent for the future, you might look at Ferguson, but I'd direct you towards young Campbell we had on our bench. That said, he's only 17 I think, and is a staunch ...

Hopefully all the scouts in England share your view.

I mean, a club like ours, we actually make a profit in a pub league. But that won't stop Hull offering us £200k for him...

Re: Gary Mckay Steven-Aberdeen, wish he was a claret.

That video up there was when he was a young precocious talent. Then the usual Scottish football thing happened, and Celtic signed him up and left him to rot on the bench. We managed to grasp him from the bosom of evil, and we're trying to nurture him back to health. I think the best place for him ri...

Good post Illgresi. Some of us eemember when you had a really good side under Fergie. I thought you played well - lots of endeavour, guts and to be hinest sone real skill at times. Fir a while i thought the stars were on your side but in the end we ground out the result. Shame we couldnt have avoid...

*Checks how long he's under contract for*

Nah, he's actually pretty shite. Played above himself. We've got a few players that are bang average but really performed well in the last two ties. Nothing to see here.

Re: Aberdeen fans after the game - what a credit

It's amazing how civilised Scottish football fans can be when you take sectarianism out of the picture. We have the usual amount of rockets in our support, but we police ourselves usually. We also have a great respect for travelling 'abroad', as we didn't get the luxury for so many years. I'm sure t...

Re: Thank you Aberdeen

This thread truly delights me. When the draw was made, the vast majority of Scottish football fans, English football fans, and...well everyone, felt that it would be a walkover. Having now played the two legs, it is clear that you are the better side. Believe me, from our past four years of experien...

Re: Mighty Clarets versus Aberdeen

Alright lads, Dons fan here. Signed up after last week to give an honest opinion, and will do so again. Absolutely proud of my team tonight. To take this tie to extra time was a monumental achievement. Over the two ties I thought we did really well against a team which contains some utterly excellen...

I despise Celtic every bit as much as I do Rangers, but have to give them respect. I didn't see anything from you guys that Celtic don't regularly do better.

Re: Aberdeen at home - a sell out?

Alright lads, Dons fan here. Thought I'd sign up and have a chat. Thoroughly enjoyed the game the other night, thought it was a really competitive, blood and thunder kind of game you would expect from two UK teams. Gutted about the goal we conceeded, but overall thought we matched up well given the ...
