This. There is absolutely no way, from both parties, that he will come here to sit on the bench. He’s a different league to what we have got and therefore once fit and in tune with the system he should start.

I can see England losing this. 2 down before we reach double figures and virtually no lead from the first innings. Our batting in the main is a shambles No surprise tho. We have concentrated on the one day game for the last 4 years and continue to reward them with test places. So many all rounders ...

It’s always been like that. I spoke to ticket office about it once and they said there is nothing they can do about it and you have to manually deselect the ones you don’t want. I have about 20 F&F and only wanted to buy my ticket so it was a pain.

And as for the nonsense of retaking pens....how much advantage does the penalty taker need over the keeper. They are almost giving a goal if they are checking the feet on the line when a pen is missed... pathetic Let’s see if they penalise the penalty taker if he stalls in his run up. Really is non...

VAR is horrible. God knows how keepers are ever meant to save penalties again. It’s physically impossible not too move forward whilst diving. They should be allowed to stand behind their line.
