Re: Hendrick

Thank goodness, we never had these message boards in the nineteen eighties... we don't know how good we have it!

Re: Jeff Hendrick

I think he has been held back by his versatility and perhaps Westwood and Corks lack of.

Beating teams above us in the Prem

Was that the first time we beat a team higher than us in the league this season? It seems like it.

A great result and a really good performance.

No shots on target

I just read Newcastle didn't have a single shot on target on Saturday, and that it was the first time ever for a team against us in the Prem. Just shows how bad they were, or at least how bad the weather was.

Re: Crazy games

I guess the worst one for me watching online in the States and not actually being there was probably the 2: 4 Spurs semi-final in 2009... a heart breaker but totally crazily memorable.

Crazy games

Does anyone have a favorite crazy game? I remember one from the 82/83 season where we played Leicester at home and lost 2:4, but what was so memorable was all the penalties and Alan Stevenson getting sent off. I think Paul McGee took one and missed and than had to face one too. If memory serves Leic...

Points off everyone....

So, I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but now we beat Leicester, we've taken points off every PL team except Arsenal, and we play them in a few weeks. The way this season is shaping up, breaking records and the potential of Europe next season, we'll probably go and beat Arsenal to 6th place... UTC

Re: ARTICLE: Heaton available but Mee and JBG doubtful

I know it's been discussed already, but wow, what a decision the Manager has... pull Pope and damage his England World Cup chances or keep Tom on the bench and damage his own and probably last World Cup chance. Dyche, I am sure, will probably only be thinking about Burnley FC, but who knows what is ...

I think playing with Ashley Williams each week hasn't helped him either.

Re: "Arm teachers" says Trump

It'll never happen UTB. The NRA own the purse strings of the politicians and it'll never even get to the House. I'm sure you've read about the verbal vitriol spouted by the NRA "leader" against anyone even suggesting "gun control" and that is the same opinion as those that elected Trump. To be hones...

Re: Pope or Heaton to go?

Heaton has a chance to go to the world cup. I think if it's a toss up for Dyche, then he'll respect that Tom needs game time to have a shot at the WC. A great position to be in for us as a club. If anyone is going to go, I would reckon Pope.

Chris Waddle and Glen Little

Does anyone know why Chris Waddle didn't appreciate and play Glen Little much back in the day? I always remember wondering why one of our most talented players (Little) was not being allowed to play. Interestingly, if I was to compare Little's style of play with another player it would be to Waddle ...

2:1 to the Clarets. Mee from a corner, Ash from a penalty to win it after coming from behind.

The goals that we concede and who to score our goals

The goals that we are conceding seem to be route one or dodgy penalties. We are really are massively improving our play and teams are having a hard time coming to the Turf and opening us up. West Brom and West Ham scored from crazy high balls, and the Arsenal yesterday, although a travesty, needed a...
