A fair few since I 1st saw the Clarets in 1964 against Stoke City; but nowhere near the number of matches true supporters have witnessed over the intervening years. I went to see Jimmy Mac. It was his 1st match back I think; I wasn't impressed. Heresy. ...and the money I've spent, ?? The rest I've j...

There are other viewpoints about "Mincemeat". Purportedly the body of a Welsh alcoholic tramp was mistaken for that of Royal Marine Officer. Not sure how anyone makes that mistake. An alternate theory is that the body used was that of a John Melville a sailor who drowned after HMS Dasher e...

Kurt Nogan lived in Barlick and enjoyed the social side.

I believe he even managed to get arrested for being drunk & disorderly there, which was quite a feat, 'cos it was situation normal for the rest of the town.

Colin Blant.

That lad had everything. Hard, aggressive, he could impose fear from the other side of the pitch.

Could and should have gone way past Stiles, Giles, Bremner, Harris, Smith, storey to name but a few.

I remember a game against Forest in the early 70's (or at least I think I do). Skippy absolutely destroyed their Sammy Chapman on the way to a hat trick - I even think Chapman scored an OG in trying to prevent Kindon scoring another. ...and to see him warming up on the touchline was incredible. A strike rate of 1 in 10 when he was at Watford, for big Chris. I'm comfortable with my view. I have the utmost respect for Sean Dyche. However, at the time of his appointment, there was one major concern I had, 'cos I recalled that this was the guy who had paid money to Burnley for Chris Iwelumo.
