Re: Burnley v Brighton - Player Ratings
What do you want people to give him? You gave him 5 which is below average. I believe a goalkeeper who for a second successive week has potentially cost us points with a catastrophic error cannot be rated at below average. I know it's about opinions, but surely a mistake from a previous game should...

Re: Burnley v Brighton - Player Ratings
Muric 5 - difficult for me to score, 'cos he adds composure to the side and commanded his area well. Distribution some what mixed but when good, it was very good, but that was probably the worst own goal I've ever seen; shame the forwards hadn't spurned the chances earlier and this would be quickly ...

Re: 4 Minutes added time
At the end of the 1st half, we kicked off but it was called back for the VAR. After VAR was complete there was no time left, which is why, I think O'shea tried to "score" from the kick-off. Surely the VAR time used should have been added on, but hey-ho, no.

Muric 7 - Another good performance, distribution is frighteningly good, and made some decent saves, particularly the 1 on 1, but think he could have done better with the goal. Highlight was how he came out and cleared two through balls - convinced their forwards had second thoughts about challenging...

I see there's a headline lower down on the page letting us know that the Manchester United youngster, George Best, passed Busby's test. Muric 8 - Splendid 1 on 1 save in the 1st half, distribution quick and virtually faultless, dealt with the aerial battering, and seemed to inspire confidence in the back 4 - oh and spared O'Shea's blushes. A very good performance. Assignon 7 - did well up against Toney, and good combinations with Vi...

This sounds like absolute ********. Didnt Kewell get injured in the Champs lg final early doors? If you were to re-read my post, you would see that I mentioned the rumour giving examples, then stated the rumour was most likely false by stating he didn't start the 2007 Champions league Final. I've read that Harry Kewell had a clause in his Liverpool contract that he would start in all major finals and, perhaps surprisingly, started the 2005 Champions League final. He was subbed early in the 1st half. He started the 2006 FA Cup Final and was subbed early in the 2nd half. Both of these app...

Re: Jim Ratcliffe and his begging bowl
Isn't that the point- he IS asking for public money, as he claims it will be used as a national stadium. Doesn't that mean the FA control who play there, not Manchester United? I really don't know who owns the FA, but unless it's the Government (which I doubt), why should the FA control who plays a...

Perhaps Sir Jim could approach the Venkys for a bit of funding. They seem to splash their money on hopeless causes. Could twin the arena with Wimbledon and have a few tennis matches there. With the imminent announcement of Trafford due, I just wonder with all things being equal if VK thinks he is potentially the best keeper from him and Bart and was the first choice. Obviously, size of fee and therefore value for money, availability, readiness for the premier league all come into it....

Harwood Bellis “I think he’s (Trafford) the best keeper I have ever seen” Certainly high praise from someone that has played/trained with a lot of keepers If memory serves me right, I think THB has seen Muric play a bit - but I guess he's also seen Edersen as well. Perhaps it's just hyperbole ;)
