Met him in a pub in the West End London a few years ago. Just joined in when a few of us we were having a few beers and cracking some jokes. His jokes were much better than ours. Interesting and v likeable man. RIP Barry.

Spot on report. Probably one of our worst performances of the season so far given as you say, Leeds were by no means exceptional. Cornet’s free kick was outstanding though.

Re: REPORT: More Boxing Day blues against Everton
At the risk of being accused of sycophancy, can I thank you for all the match reports you produce. As I am now rather old and flacky and it is highly unlikely I will get to Turf Moor again given I live south of London, I thoroughly enjoy your reports. So all the best for the New Year and keep on pro...

Great band. Saw them at the Greyhound pub on Fulham Palace Road Fulham not long after they arrived from Ireland in the early 1970s. Absolutely brilliant live. The pub was packed out.

Re: Aberdeen, Turks, Greeks
Don’t normally post on here but what a stupid childish elitist post. I’ve supported Burnley since 1959 probably before the person posting this was born. And watched previous excursions in Europe in the early sixties on a black and white telly. The reality is that many of us can’t afford to travel , ...

Re: Brighton Pubs
If you are in a car, go east on the A27 towards Lewes from the ground and turn off at the first large roundabout for the village of Kingston where there is a pub called the Juggs which serves a great pint of Harvey’s Sussex bitter. I think it’s the third exit on that roundabout. That is if you like ...

Born in Kirby Lonsdale but moved to and brought up on a farm in Roughlee in the late fifties and early sixties. Was first taken to Turf Moor during the 59/60 season to an evening game which I think was against Blackburn Rovers, in the back of a Land Rover. I think we won but not sure, and could neve...

Just logged on and don't normally post but it is so inspiring what you and your family have achieved. I know from friends how difficult it can be to take on and inspire adopted children. As others have said, a great story and how justifiably proud you all must be.

We need to ensure that Tarkowski and Long are not our first choice central defenders next season. However great season. Shame we didn't get a point today. West Ham looked quite good despite all their injuries. Probably kept Bilic in his job for next season.

Karanka would have had a nervous breakdown had he still been manager, and just might have criticised our use of the long ball. Shame he's gone - Agnew sounds normal but won't be in the job long
