Re: Lancs League Worsley Cup 2nd round

They changed the rules last year. Semi Finals and Finals will continue until finished with no overs reductions; earlier rounds use the Duckworth Lewis method. The problem, if it is a problem, is in the wording of the rules. If the game doesn't reach 20 overs in the second innings, then DL can't app...

How anyone can side with Charlton after the debacle in that last game when we clinched the title is a bit odd to put it mildly. Their fans were absolutely fantastic with us that day and our fans reciprocated. If you really believe what you've posted, I suggest you read this: http://www.uptheclarets...

My interpretation of the rivalry would be similar to Man U and Man C (before the UAE took it over) Burnley were always seen as posher, more corporate, more respectable, richer and more successful; Lowerhouse was the real Burnley team. I’d partially agree with you. The people running Burnley Cricket...

The future doesn’t look good for a club who were in the Football League sixty years ago. They have just one registered player, have had 9 points deducted from their final total but, worse still, have had their National League licence revoked for 2919/20. Eight games today but just seen the scorecard for Burnley’s innings at Accrington. Burnley have scored 278/7 but I noticed that there were 53 extras in that innings with no fewer than 12 no balls and a staggering 33 wides.
