The ball is in play now once it's been touched rather than going out of the box. Once it is in play, anyone can play the ball.

Prior to the rule change the ball wasn’t in play after a goal kick until it left the penalty area but it’s in play now immediately after the ball has been played.

I’m best friends with his 3 grandchildren, his son Bill a great bloke, unfortunately none played cricket and all follow Lowerhouse :shock: :lol: I knew Bill years ago but not seen him for a long, long time. I think Derek would be pleased they have an interest in cricket despite their choice of club.

I was there as well. Probably with CT and Shappie etc. Amazingly I dont remember the game but it sounds like the usual Lowerhouse farce. Was Denis Pollard the same one who went on to play for Redrose ? Same Dennis Pollard yes. Used to travel on Boundary Clarets to all the away games around a decade...

I seem to remember that Burnley FC were/are shareholders in Burnley CC. The only potential buyer of the CC is the FC . Burnley CC would then have tons of cash and could ground share with Lowerhouse. He’s deputy CEO at Burnley FC in the Community. I’d never met him before but it felt as if I’d known him for years. No edge to him at all, really nice guy.
