I'd also be interested in Dolan from them his goal record is crap but he is technically really impressive.
Wasn't he in our academy at some point?

fair point - has he improved or just "one of those seasons" - just looked back on saturdays game and the Fofana chance across the box you would think this lad would have buried it but ?? - just looked at Adam Armstrong at Southampton - 2 seasons prior in prem - 4 goals total (2 per season) !! this ...

If you are being blinded by the goals, yes, he's scored 24 in 41 league games for them this season but last season scored five in 34.

Steven will be able to get this operation funded through the pfa. I would suggest he contacts them to enquire. Every player who has played professionally and been a pfa member is entitled to monies for medical or educational needs.

For some reason did not expect that.

Could’ve been a far bigger defeat as well.
I said to someone not long before kick off that I thought Everton would get something tonight and by that I didn't mean a hiding.

I think CT is too quick for everybody tonight. Encyclopedic knowledge of Clarets particularly in the period we generally cover  The sequence one was tough because as soon as I saw Altrincham I thought FA Cup and the next FA Cup win we had was against Carlisle in the following year. The war between Lord and Adamson made it almost inevitable and then Joe Brown had no chance.

I didn't know Lord said that to him.
Joe's first game in charge was at Norwich - Willie Morgan was never selected by Joe, Mick Docherty didn't play again after the Norwich game and later in the season he stopped him from selecting Doug Collins and Colin Waldron. All were Adamson sympathisers.

Re: 25 points from winning positions

I questioned whether Kompany's record is the worst top-flight one of any Burnley manager, referring to Joe Brown's second half of the season performance in 1975-76. So I thought I'd check his record out. Brown was manager for the last 18 games: won 5, drew 3, lost 10. So 13 points at two for a win....

Re: 2 years without Dyche.

Dyche’s side was steadily improving through potentially to 2020 but then it stalled due to lack of investment in the squad. We stopped picking up home wins and that was crucial to us. The game after we won at Liverpool we beat Aston Villa 3-2 at home. Since that game we’ve won just 8 out of 48 home ...

Hillsborough - 35 years

Hard to believe it is 35 years ago but 97 people lost their lives through the events of that day and many, many more had their lives affected forever.

Today, above all days, is to have those people in your thoughts.

I think it’s more than likely we’d have picked up an extra 5 or 6 points with Pope between the sticks this season. Whether or not that would have been enough I don’t know. Newcastle have certainly missed him. I was talking to a couple of Mags recently and they believe the Pope injury derailed them ...

Re: RATE THE REF - Simon Hooper v Brighton

Fair play but if relegated you will see poorer referees. I have watched lots of games this season in all 4 divisions and the standard is very poor and do t have VAR to help in offsides Goals are given with scorers sometimes 2 yards offside The one bonus is there being no VAR. It’s damaged the game.

Re: 25 points from winning positions

I tried to work it out in my head and got to 25 but both are really damming stats. Our record in all our premier league seasons after going behind is good at all. I remember in the 17-18 season when we came back to beat Everton at home 2-1 that was the first game we had come from behind to win a pr...
