I'm told that Taffy's funeral will be held in Swansea on Friday, 17th May.
I'm still stunned that he's no longer with us.

Not many left now from those two great teams
Just Bob Seith & Alex Elder from our 1959/60 title team and I think maybe just Cliff Jones & Terry Dyson, the other two wingers, for Spurs.

Surely Di Bradio is not the only person who can sort out the erratic delay problem Strongly suggest that CT enlists the help of a technician to get it fixed before the weekend when we have a massive game in our season People will not wait indefinitely for the site to be fixed however much they like...

Re: REPORT: Magnificent in Manchester
Lowest turnout of Burnley fans for a Premier League game there. I’ve understood some of the lower allocations we’ve taken recently but baffled with this one. More so with the number of non Clarets in there.

I was at Littleborough where we were battered by Enfield. Our deputy pro Tom Rogers played more like Ted Rogers. Things can only get better. And as for cold cricket grounds I give you The Pollards home of Oldham CC. Played there in the late Seventies and it snowed. Our pro that year Franklyn Stephe...

Great report. That 2 1 defeat in the Cup back in the 60s obviously hurt you as much as it did me! First visit - Law and Crerand in the last six minutes with Best running round with one boot in his hand setting up the goals. And then I waited, and waited and waited to see us win there. That 2-0 win ...

Re: National League play off semis.
We played them in the FA Cup, 83-84ish. They were bad mouthing us pre-game but we sent them home with their tail between their legs, 6-1 I think. 3rd round 1981/82 - Steve Taylor(2), Trevor Steven & Billy Hamilton(3). You are right, they were bad mouthing us. They thought they were going to come he...

Surprised that cone wasn't wearing a half and half scarf! Never seen as many people wearing red and white draped in them. Just looks daft! At least the half and half scarves were authentic (a Sean Dyche word) yesterday. We went one year and we saw them on sale with the Aston Villa badge on the Burn...

Re: Do the board really want concessionary supporters?
At a fans Q&A with the manager, I think it was Steve Cotterill, Lee Hoos, our Chief Exec at the time, hijacked the opening and did a bit of a rant the jist of which was 'in the USA, a $70 seat was a $70 seat no matter who sat in it'. He really did have a problem with concession pricing. So it's not...

Re: Do the board really want concessionary supporters?
Out of curiosity, what would you say a reasonable discount would be from a full price season ticket to a seniors one? It was once 50% across the board at Burnley. I’ve been paying around 40% discount since qualifying but down next season to just over 30%. Rest assured they will reduce that discount...

Burnley are 28/3 chasing 99 and Lowerhouse are 34/5 chasing 163.

The one thing missing from this story is whose instigation this would come with. Do we want rid, or does the player? We are well stocked in that position, other players have developed, if we go down, and if selling Jordan means we don’t have to sell Koleosho (taking an example) then it could be us ...

We don’t get this info and we can only assume he’s with us given he had a Burnley top on with his initials on it. A lot of clubs list their coaching staff and all their academy staff but we don’t.

All the costs to the club to provide each seat are exactly the same whoever is sitting in the seat. There is no incentive whatsoever to the club to offer concessionary tickets - yet they still do. Many other venues and experiences offer discounts for seniors and children that are only around 5 or 1...
