Re: Flintoff's lads

He was for sure a better bowler than batter - had some great innings of course but much more deadly and consistent with ball in hand. Some of them spells in the 2005 series were absolutely incredible. He was for me too. Very consistent as a bowler while less so as a batsman but you didn’t want to b...

Raman Subba Row

England’s oldest living football international Ron Baynham passed away recently and today our oldest test cricketer Raman Sunna Row has died aged 92.

He was one of the first England openers I can remember alongside Rev David Sheppard & Geoff Pullar.

Yes, you forget just how good a bowler he was. But there's footage on YouTube of him bowling to Ponting and Kallis. Two of the best batsman of the era. And he seemed to be the nemesis of Adam Gilchrist. He always claims to have not been a great bowler but that’s exactly what he was. We always seem ...

Do you think this will lead to smaller clubs who get home ties against big clubs requesting that the venue be switched in order to try and make more money from gate receipts if the possibility of a replay is gone? Or is that practice not allowed?

Another nail in the FA Cup coffin for me is this.
