Re: Manuel Benson

Given he scored 11 goals last season from only 14 starts, it does beg the question why he hasn't been seen as a viable option from the bench by Kompany, even if him not starting games isn't anything new. He had a lot of substitute appearances too - scored six in his 14 starts and 5 in his 19 sub ap...

Re: La Liga games in the USA

Isn't there some FIFA regulation at the moment which means you have to play league games in the home country? I can't remember the exact details but I think there is a court case at the moment between them and an American TV company to try and force FIFA to remove that rule. Given there are already...

I sit on the seventh row from the front of the Longside upper and have only occasionally got wet.

Why Vincent Kompany was sent off at Chelsea

Can't see it anywhere else on the board but the FA have now released the written reasons for the charge. Basically, the info came from the fourth official James Bell. James Bell, an assistant referee at Stamford Bridge for the March 30 game, lifted the lid on Kompany’s antics after England awarded C...

Anthony Taylor is definitely an Alty fan, despite what Liverpool fans like to protest. He's had a season ticket there for years. He refereed a friendly between Altrincham and Burnley dev squad in 2016. When he was coming off a half time I suggested he might be too biased to referee this particular ...

Did we not make this mistake for games at the end of our last relegation campaign as well. Just 1,294 Burnley fans there for our last visit which, like this year...
