Dyche had gone stale.

We have more points now after 8 games than we did in Dyche's last season.

We've not been brilliant this season but there's many more positives than under Dyche in that last season

Yep - sorry. Just saw a quote about the £55k dated 2009. He signed his new contract in 2009 at Chelsea which increased his salary to more than £100k a week apparently ! There is no way anyone at burnley - manager or player - was on £65k a week in 2009. Absolutely no chance. Don’t know the exact total wage bill but from memory it wasn’t that much more than £20m. Interestingly enough we were actually paying another 20 year old highly touted 'prospect' £40k a week in 2014. He was the club's highest earner at the time.

He went on to make 4 substitute appearences for us in the league.

Another source pointed out that the revised schedule will take the payments into the next financial year, potentially enabling the owners to defer millions in tax.
I would have thought this was actually the main reason for deferring the payments until the next financial year.

Wood's attendance at the Olympics is purely at the discretion of Burnley Football Club or more maybe more importantly the manager.

Clubs do not have to release players for the Olympics in the same way they do for full internationals and have the right to not let them go.

I thought Brady himself looked a little perplexed at being brought off too.

I think the combination of wanting to get McNeil up to speed and Brady's injury history probably prompted the switch because it certainly wasn't becuase of his performance.
