Dyche had gone stale.
We have more points now after 8 games than we did in Dyche's last season.
We've not been brilliant this season but there's many more positives than under Dyche in that last season

I'd be pleasantly surprised if Al Dakhil continues to get called up by Belgium after he passes whatever threshold is needed so that he can't switch international allegiance to Iraq.

From reading some Anderlecht fans comments he is injury prone, slow and more of a CB than a LB.
Let's see how he gets on. Kompany knows what he is doing.

Yep - sorry. Just saw a quote about the £55k dated 2009. He signed his new contract in 2009 at Chelsea which increased his salary to more than £100k a week apparently ! I'm guessing you are using Wikipedia as this make the same error. There it clearly states his contract was increased to £120k in 2...

There is no way anyone at burnley - manager or player - was on £65k a week in 2009. Absolutely no chance. Don’t know the exact total wage bill but from memory it wasn’t that much more than £20m. We would not pay 15% of the total wage bill to one player. In fact £65k a week back in 2009 was the kind...

Redmond is a decent player with good Premier League pedigree (and no less than Pep is on record thinking he's a better player than given credit for). No accident Saints were relegated the year they let him go. We've got to accept we have a limited budget, doubtless made more limited by the fact tha...

Interestingly enough we were actually paying another 20 year old highly touted 'prospect' £40k a week in 2014. He was the club's highest earner at the time.
He went on to make 4 substitute appearences for us in the league.

Super days racing. Sad to lose two team leaders to a crash. Love the winner but will his team want to defend the yellow jersey from day two? Defend with Yates? No. It's all about Pogacar for Team UAE. They might try and keep Yates around Pogacar a bit more if there are any doubts over Pog's wrist

A fully fit Ramsey and Wilshere would be a top class midfield pairing in the Prem, arguably better than most sides. Wood's attendance at the Olympics is purely at the discretion of Burnley Football Club or more maybe more importantly the manager.
Clubs do not have to release players for the Olympics in the same way they do for full internationals and have the right to not let them go.

I thought Brady himself looked a little perplexed at being brought off too.
I think the combination of wanting to get McNeil up to speed and Brady's injury history probably prompted the switch because it certainly wasn't becuase of his performance.
