Cork had one of his worst games for us, several passes going astray. Hendrick did nothing wrong all afternoon but some folk have a down on him. Can’t understand it.

Met him at a question and answer session inLittleborough a few years ago. Spent at least half an hour talking to him and he was a perfect gentleman. Didn’t know why people had come out to see him. He had no idea that he was a hero to do many folk. RIP Jimmy McIlroy

very good report. Glad to hear someone post a positive report about Jeff Hendrik. He seems to have become the whipping boy of many fans. he is playing in a specialist role which can be lost on many people. I consider him a stalwart of the way we set the team up, and Sean seems to think so too.
