Re: Tactics Explained | The Burnley Low Block
It's ok but only highlights half of the job. We haven't scored goals and beaten teams just by sitting in two banks of 4, we've actually attacked teams as well!! The speed of our play when we turn over the ball is terrific. This just paints us as a Pulis team! Shhhhh... let people carry on believing...

Good article but I can't agree with that title "the burnley miracle" It isn't a miracle. It's been bloody graft for everybody involved. To be fair to the author of the piece, he does start with "Sound planning, hard work and a community ethos have put 'plucky' Burnley among the Premier League's eli...

Re: Volvo - From 2019 all new models will be Hybrid or Fully Electric
Do they have a theoretical maximum speed at which they can charge it? I can fill up a petrol car in two minutes. Electric cars at present are nowhere near that time, but will that get down to two minutes or somewhere near, as the technology improves? Fisker claims to be working on a solid-state bat...

47 years for me too. Sat 31 Oct 1970 Burnley 2 - 1 Crystal Palace (missed the second half as I fell asleep in my dad's arms... I was 4), although I didn't start going on the Turf regularly until 4 years later, when we moved back to Burnley from Canada.
