Still think he could do a Graham Alexander type role in front of our back two next year as a captain and an experienced leader on the pitch, would possibly help some of the young lads. IMO Well someone needs to. Biggest mistake of many this season is not playing someone in that role. Little sign of...

Early to mid sixties. When we were a top 6 club. Followed by 1973 to 1975. Then the Dyche years.

VK is deluded. They play 5 in cm and we play 2. Odobert is not a nr 10. Brownhill should be in for JBL or Vitineo, allowing Berge to get forward. I'm sorry but yet again nothing learnt.

Ditch 442 and we have hope. Cullen to come in as a third proper cm, allowing Berge to go more forward. Benson to play on the right of a front 3, with Zeki benched.

Our defending of corners is consistently atrocious, including the crazy use of zonal marking, midgets marking giants and letting the opposition get in first to block Trafford. It a disgrace.

Whoever continues to plan us defending set pieces can't be much use. Time and time again we end up with one of our midgets marking giants, yet Jota gets a free header. Just watch what Brownhill does for their first goal. He ends up marking VVD, well trying. It's really poor and has been ever since D...

I quite like Trafford and think he will become a top keeper in time and certainly should continue being first choice, but we should have prioritised other areas. Whilst there has been plenty of chopping and changing in the back line, the lack of change in midfield appears to have had just as bad an impact. It's very straightforward. We signed far too many wingers ( at the expense of full backs and a cm bruiser). We've chopped and changed the starting 11 and subs in a poor attempt to keep all those wingers and Ramsey happy, which has backfired massively.

A defensive centre midfielder
A central striker
All/most tall, quick and strong.
