Re: The summer Trafford/Muric dilemma
We absolutely won't need both of them in the Championship, we didn't this season. Massive waste of resources. I like Trafford and think too much too soon has been a big mistake. Muric playing means we don't have to try and play through a press, so he has to start. Ideally will stay up and loan Traff...

When he's fit he's one of the player you build the team around. A lot of fans wanted to sign THB on permanently but Beyer was a class above anything we saw from THB last season. That's not a dig at THB either - Beyer just made the Championship look easy. If we keep him I'd be tempted to play Esteve...

I still see him in the Rodri role for us.
As regards keeping a big squad happy it's our own fault. We signed too many players/wingers. If we go down it's a big worry. I am convinced VK pizzed about with playing people like Ramsey when they clearly weren't ready imo to keep them happy.

Can you imagine the chaos that would ensue if we had to change manager this summer. I’ve been to about 20 games this season. Saturday was the second time I’ve seen us win in person. Apologies for celebrating. I should have been berating Kompany for looking too happy. Fair enough, however, I am struggling to get past the surrender of midfield for months on end and decisions such as...

If Everton can beat Forest today, then I think we can stay up with 30 points, including beating them. However, they'll probably be given points back from their appeal unless that takes them above Everton. Then will Luton get enough to pip us?

I like Wilson. I'll never understand why Kompany wasted weeks playing as a number 10, when without Kolo he's our main threat out wide.
He signed a million wingers and then puts his best available in a position the player was not ready for.

And yet for all the doom we may just basically need to be within 2 points of Forest before the final game. The one place Odobert should be playing is wide left. Does anyone other the Kompany think differently? Not playing Foster down the middle remains very weird as well. These types of choices and the poor use of subs are why we are going down.

It's worse than that. If Everton need an extra point or 2 after the season end, they can be given it, thus relegating a team that thought it had survived. This is all likely to end up in court.

I have to agree. Odobert playing centrally, plus Foster wide and JBL narrow on the left blunted our attacking threat. Well at least everyone so far thinks we should have only 3 attackers. Pity our manager thinks that we can play 4 and surrender midfield, when we can't defend.
