Re: Lanzini

The Westwood one was a bit naughty but a ‘professional’ foul - definitely a yellow card. The one on Taylor was a yellow. As LTL has said, he went in hard but withdrew a bit when he realised he wasn’t getting there. Tough when he probably has about a quarter of a second to react. Lanzini was miles aw...

Anyone calling for Cork to be dropped, who was easily our best midfielder today and has been this season, is mad. Westwood needs to drop out now.

Wood back in for Jay if he’s fit and Taylor just has to come in at left back now.

Generally had Abraham in his back pocket but a shocking pass that led to the second. Mee 6 Pieters 4 - we’ve a better left back on the bench and he ...

I said when it was confirmed they were bringing it in (although not on here), that it would be the death of football. People laughed at me, and told me I was overreacting. I think the bit that rankles is all these other instances where clear trips (non-accidental too, which I know is irrelevant but still...) are there to see on a replay (Barnes v Norwich, De Bruyne and Deulofeu yesterday) are sticking with the on-field decision. Why?

Some like it, some don’t. I’m not as arsed about watching Premier League football anymore. Nobody died if you got a decision ‘wrong’ but every moment now is a bit less exciting. That’s cool, but it’s not for me. It’s as boring as rugby all of a sudden. This, this, this. I’m pretty close to giving u...

Have to say there were 3 or 4 occasions today where he was offside due to sheer laziness in terms of not dropping back after an initial ball in or from not even trying to bend or shape his run.

For as long as we’re in the Premier League, in reality. If we had 30 points by Christmas, I’m convinced we’d have a do at the FA Cup. Indeed, we would have the season we finished 7th but we ended up getting drawn away at Man City. The League Cup will never ever be a priority for Dyche, in my opinion.
