Re: Chris Wood - Offside

There was a really good article in The Athletic regarding Wood just a few days ago. It highlights what a very good player he is which, to be fair, most of us know! If you don't value CW I suggest you give it a read. One great measurement is how much Dyche and the rest of the team value him.

The bit where he was pushing to get the "record" attendance read out at half time was cringe worthy. H...

How come we feel this won't be quickly contained when China, with a huge population and the largest number of reported cases, have managed to reduce the new cases to just 80 yesterday? They seem to have slowed it down within a couple of weeks.

West Brom up as champions which I'm ok with; don't mind them at all.

Unfortunately, Leeds will be second. I absolutely detest them but the Sky cumfest at seeing them promoted is going to be so unbearable.

The Premier League should follow Rugby Union (in more ways than one). At the end of the game one team forms a tunnel and the opposing team walks through the tunnel. This is then reciprocated. I'm just about ok with the offsides reviewed by VAR, all be it, some take a ridiculous time to come to a decision but the Maguire kick and the Fred push are just incompetence of the highest order. For a January window, it's been excellent. No player can really integrate themselves within the group, and make an immediate impact in the short timescale that this part of the season allows. Summer is the time to introduce new faces and get the whole group up to speed at the same time. Add to that...

Totally agree.

It's not just his goal scoring for me. It's the way he affects our play, gives us an outlet in the channels which takes pressure off us when we need. The games he doesn't play highlights the way we try and play differently as a team and it isn't as effective.
