Re: Royal London One-Day Cup scores

Poor day for Lancs and we really do need Livingstone and Buttler back ASAP, not that I expect Buttler to play that much in this format. Some very large scores today. Interestingly, not a single team won batting second. Hopefully we’ll get our first win sooner rather than later. We finished this tour...

The flags looked great. But they didn’t contribute to the atmosphere. The game itself did that! The fans were very buoyant throughout the first half. Unfortunately, as the teams were coming out and warming up, all we were subjected to was a hugely distorted P.A system, which hadn’t been completely r...

The Wolves game ‘effort’ was terrible. At the most, and I think this is being generous, 3,000 fans held their flags. That’s about 15% of the crowd! What’s the point. I guarantee, the guy on the mic (the one who deliberately whispers the name of our opponents at an inaudible level) will be bellowing ...

Re: Turn up early tomorrow to see the flags

I’m coming to the conclusion now that the club do this on purpose; not to improve atmosphere, but to try and wind fans up. We’re playing Cardiff in a MASSIVE game. Do we really need a flag? Hey, why not provide party poppers and streamers too?
