Did no one else watch the awards last? Wood said he loved the competition with Vyds, Jay and Barnes, was proud to be the club’s top scorer for three seasons on the bounce end he was looking forward to getting back for the new season.

One and a half weeks down, just five and a half to go. Here’s hoping that the very quick turnaround might just help our cause in keeping one if our best ever managers at Turf Moor for the new season.

It is a slightly smaller one than I wanted, with several of us chipping in. I have found one in the Igneus range, which gets good reviews and can be shipped in 2-3 days. Just don't want to compromise on quality.

Decent quality outdoor pizza oven recommendations

Looking at buying an outdoor pizza oven for a family member as a joint gift for an important birthday. I have used an OONI pizza oven before but due to the pandemic, their ovens can't be shipped until late September, and we really could do with it by the end of August. Looking at spending £300-£500 ...

I really rate Ramsdale but I’d go for Jack Butland. A very decent keeper who had his confidence shot during Stoke’s relegation from the Premier League, who nobody seems keen on any more. A few weeks with Billy Mercer and he’d be right back at it again.

Tarky for me. He has cut out errors, is even better on the ball and has taken his game to that of an elite centre half. He is worth an absolute fortune.

The season was finally wrapped up yesterday, with a pretty flat display against Brighton, but 381 days previous, we’d got our season preparations underway, with a 1-0 win out in the Algarve. Incidentally, we kept a clean sheet that day – something we’d get used to in the season ahead….we won the gam...
