Do we still attribute ‘Europe’ to our poor start to the season?

At tea time on Thursday, Olympiakos play Dynamo Kiev in the Round of 32 in the Europa League. It makes me think of ‘What might’ve been’ after we simply outplayed the Greeks for 90 minutes on the Turf. So now we’ve seemingly turned a corner (but maintaining the notion that we’re certainly not out of ...

Definitely not a foul Dave. Certainly not ‘clear and obvious’. The thing is, the blame will rightly go to Dubravka. It’s a bad error for a pro to make but those poorly hit crosses are a nightmare to grasp under the bar. He should’ve punched. He didn’t do anything in the end!

I think by default, you’d have to put some Leicester performances in there. Their away win at Man City was class.

Almost enough for a line in Dyche Bingo there, but my God, it’s an important message to keep putting out there.

McCann was an excellent player for us, but crucially he was in the form of his life when Turner crocked him for Sunderland. In those three games against Man Utd, Everton and Sunderland, he was playing brilliantly. I’m absolutely sure that Dyche would’ve done a great job with him, had he had the chan...

Playing with Barnes enables him to run into balls and play the channels: two massive strengths of his. He’s a good player and he shines when used properly.

Another outstanding display from our front two, with each getting on the scoresheet again. The thing that concerns me is that Base pairing are clearly the go to strikeforce, yet if one of them now gets injured, we can’t ask Crouch to start games… Well not in my mind we can’t. The whole shape of the ...

I’ve said this on till I’m blue in the face and I’ve even done a thread about it, but it’s not about Wood the individual, it’s all about Wood and Barnes in a partnership. Recently, Wood’s performances have been excellent and his link up play has caused all sorts of trouble for opposition defences. Q...

Graham Scott, did indeed do the FA Cup tie at Manchester City last year, where we were knocked out of the competition.

The year before that, we were knocked out by Lincoln city, and yes you’ve guessed it, Graham Scott was the man in charge that day as well.

Looks like Mr Scott is on his hat-trick!
