Michael Keane is an outstanding defender. I’d have him back in a flash. He might have to sit in the bench a while though.

Who had 1986/87 as their first season as a Clarets fan?

I guess I was fortunate, having been taken to a handful of games in the second half of the 1991/92 season, to start my love affair with Burnley. Huge gates for the division at the back end; a wonderful derby with Blackpool being my first game. On my dad’s part, getting me to fall in love with the cl...

Listen to Martel and then tell me that he doesn’t absolutely knock spots off Lambert. Ps, he’s not a Freddie impersonator; his natural voice is very similar, although there are a few Mercuryisms thrown in.

I don’t like Adam Lambert. Such a shame it wasn’t Marc Martel in that position, although no one will ever, EVER replace Mercury.

Just delay it as long as needed and then start the season at a suitable time afterwards. It might take two or three years to get back into sync but they’re small prices. There’s no point rushing to start 2020/21 on time when for all we know, the next autumn and winter may bring a new lockdown of its...
