Re: RATE THE REF - Jon Moss v Manchester City

Thanks for the feedback. The reason for the 25 scores are because when I thought of the feature, I took advice from a former football league official, who talked me through the different criteria used. Back in those days I think they used five different assessment criteria, each scored out of 20, th...

Two highly significant games in our modern history. I expected us to lose comfortably to Manchester City but I truly expected us to beat Gillingham. Taylor, who later signed for City, barely had to work for his five goals. After the City game everyone realised that we just weren’t good enough: chang...

A change of theme: How do we prepare to beat Crystal Palace?

Do we go 4-4-2, as we all expect, with just Westwood dripping out? Do we change of formation to mitigate Palace’s counter or do we do something different within our 4-4-2....sitting back a little more early on, like we did against Southampton and Watford, before stretching play later? Palace are one...

Two assists, two cleansheets and a goal in the last two games. He absolutely should be in the middle of England’s defence ahead of Tyrone Mings.

Garreth O’Connor Looked an exciting signing when he joined us, with his chum, Wadey. Got off to an excellent start with some solid performances and a few excellent goals. But then something happened and he seemingly went off the rails. What are you memories? 15F3DF97-69BD-44D0-B84F-80872C6FB0F2.jpeg

Not bad for a former Rugby Union pro is he?

You often get pros in one sport who are pretty good, who try their hand at another sport but with very little success. I’d say it’s very rare that you get someone who quits a sport to become an elite level player in another sport.
