Many thanks indeed, Tony.

Leave for London tomorrow. Sending best wishes to all other Clarets on here who are running the marathon. I know that Inchy will be up the road a good few miles ahead of me. All the best

This is extremely kind. Without going into too much detail, could I politely request that if you do want to donate to the Foodbank (an excellent cause) that you do so directly and not through BFCitCommunity. After several seasons of fundraising and doing the foodbank collections on matchdays, we wer...

For that it should be sold to Blackburn .
Funnily enough, all of that damage was done when she was a puppy. Coincidentally, we replaced the chair just a couple of weeks ago.

Re: Will it be the same next season

Absolutely yes! But we have to find that consistency again first. We need a smaller squad and more competition for places, around a brilliant Championship spine. My main concern on the playing side, is my expectation. Two years ago, I was hopeful of a top ten finish. Now I feel like we should be tar...

Currently this is prevented by FIFA statutes, which have been repeatedly challenged by football promoter Relevent through a series of court cases in the US spanning the last 5 years and which are still ongoing. Critically FIFA has been a co-defendant with the MLS in all these cases - now following ...

Re: POLL: If we were a Premier League Club - question about playing a game abroad…

Anything like that needs continued opposition from supporters Agree. Apparently, Barcelona and Girona had been asked to play a game in Miami (I think). UEFA quashed it, saying that it was in their rulings that a national league within the organisation were not permitted to play outside of the count...

POLL: If we were a Premier League Club - question about playing a game abroad…

Very hypothetical, as we’re already all but relegated. However, if we were to return to the top flight at some point and with news of the ‘39th Game’ starting to resurface, please consider the question below. Would you be okay with BFC playing a HOME game in the USA, if it made £20,000,000 for the c...

Re: RATE THE REF - League Table Update - A very congested mid-table!

It’s a really good question and I have often wondered the same… I always use Lee Mason as a casing point: his first burnley game in rate the ref was the Preston home game, where we lost 3–2. If you recall, there was an incident in the first couple of minutes where Matt Hill clearly deliberately hand...

I didn't even know supporters clubs were still a thing. I miss the days when Beeky's Colne Clarets would regularly take four or five coaches on a pub crawl somewhere and end up at a football stadium. them were't days.
Very much so.
