You get this story every season
In fact I’m sure this happened before to Truro recently
You absolutely do, but I have to say, I’m not aware of any club having to play nine home games TWO HUNDRED miles away because of a poor pitch.

Truro City - fixture congestion and ground (pitch) problems

I’m struggling to keep up with it, but from what I can gather, Truro have: Played 34 of their 46 games Most other sides have played 40 or 41 matches. They have to play ALL of their remaining games in a 25 day period, finishing 20th April. Looks like they’ll be playing Saturday-Tuesday-Thursday-Satur...

Won’t harm you at this stage, might even do you good. Just remember even mile splits once you actually get to running. That’s a lot of people going through them narrow gates. 36km clocked today. 1992-95

I was lucky to see Burnley play in the 4th, 3rd and 2nd division, in the first few years in which I supported the club. One title win, one play off final victory, one relegation…it was a good introduction to the club I love.

It was the right sub and circumstantial. Just unfortunate. VK has done that a few times to see out a win: see Zaroury and Twine. We criticise VK for daft subs, but today, even though he’d only been on for a short period, it was the right call.

Foster back just in time, as Fofana will not be available to play against Chelsea, hi...

When you consider the degree of impact fast bowling has, physically on the body, compared to spin bowling, and the much shorter spells that pace attacks often have, to be even talking in the same sentence as Shane Warne, it highlights just what a phenomenal achievement this is.
