Alex Scott on Sky suggesting Pickford's playing for confidence reasons because Iceland shouldn't cause many problems. She expects Pope to play against Denmark when the pressure is on more. I can understand wanting to give him confidence, but can't we do that in an honest to god friendly? I know the...

Just to pick up on poaching fans from Preston & Blackburn. Let’s go back to the Jack Walker days when they were so far ahead of us it was frightening. Did they ever poach any of our fans? Perhaps poaching wasn't the correct term. Broading our base of appeal might fit better. I went to uni in Lancas...

Re: Investor
For me, an investor is needed to give us the extra boost in the transfer market. I agree that the policy we have in place has served us incredibly well so far, but to push us on (which to me means top half finishes consistently) we need extra funds beyond what keeps the club safe. The best bet of th...

There's absolutely no doubt that it would have been a penalty had Lee Mason been in charge. I can see him now with that inane grin on his face as he quickly pointed towards the spot. Had it been given, then I doubt VAR would have over-ruled it, so in that sense I suppose we got a bit lucky. Yeah, b...

Of course Dyche approves the signing. He's the boss. And like many other posters, you aren't placing any emphasis on what happens in training. We don't see training, so it's easy to forget about it; but Dyche sees training every day, and what he has seen all season is that Cork and Westwood are bet...

I don't think this is the issue at all. I think Dyche is just very stubborn in the type of player he wants leaving very few options left, and even when he does sign players, he doesn't give them a run of games. So here's the bit I can't wrap my head around. If we've signed the player, I doubt highl...

First penalty shout for Cardiff was no different to the one Wolves had - way too close to the man for him to react. If the big six joined a break away league, it would at least be interesting times for football. The way I see it, sky would drastically reduce the money into whatever they renamed the top division, as they'd plough money into getting the rights to this new entity. The knock on of that might see a fe...

That would be 4 recognised centre backs. Including Long in there, because if Dyche mentioned having 3 after Keane left, he clearly counts Long as a recognised centre back.

Yes, I'd say that is indeed the case. However, there comes a point when the potential reward may well outweigh any risk. I do wish we'd seriously invest in an international scouting system.
