Roma 4-1 down from the first leg, won 3-0 to go through on away goals. Incredible commentary as well.

Alan Brown
Tifo Football have today posted a video on Alan Brown that some on here may find interesting.
Interesting to compare how similar his spells at Burnley and Sunderland were with legendary managers later coming in and building on the foundations he set.

Thought they competed really well there. Just looked a little rushed in possession at times.
Conn-Clarke stood out, especially when he shifted inside later in the game.

Feels like a last chance for a while this for Leeds.
They’d been shite for years before Bielsa turned up and I can’t see him staying if they don’t go up this year.
Hopefully they can then return to the being the mid-table Championship fodder they were before.

Re: Safe Standing nearer
Standing in seated areas always feels a lot more dangerous than standing on terraces. This is what I’ve always thought. Right now we have unsafe standing, so why not add in safe standing sections? Hopefully then people can actually be given a choice at away games whether they want to sit or stand a...

Re: Sorry but you have to laugh
Not sure where the idea people would have preferred us to win today than in the league comes from. If it was just this defeat then I think most people would just accept that you can’t win ‘em all. But it’s this game in the context of all the cup exits we’ve had to teams we should be putting away. Li...

Could maybe see them giving Foakes the gloves in Sri Lanka as he’s the best keeper by far. It was a shame he struggled with the bat in the Championship last season as he may have nailed down the place already otherwise. Feel like with Buttler and Bairstow being the ‘chosen ones’, Foakes has got to d...

See Michael Duff has been picked out by Football365 as one of 6 football league managers ‘defying expectations this season’. Even suggesting he could find himself back at Burnley in the future. Really pleased to see him doing well at Cheltenham. https://www.football365.com/news/six-efl-managers-seas...

Shocker from Pope but how is Rudiger allowed to clatter Tarks with an elbow without a free kick being given? Not even looking at the ball.

Picking Bess over Parky because he can bat a bit is a shambles of a decision. Hopefully Parkinson doesn’t end up being dragged around the world carrying drinks with no chance of actually playing. We were put in this situation by our failure to secure the centre mid we desperately needed earlier in the summer. Seemingly ended up taking Drinkwater on as last resort when time was running out. You probably can if it you've got the massive resources that clubs like that have. Been to most of our games at Anfield in the Premier League and I can’t say there’s ever been a particularly good atmosphere among the home fans.
In general in this country it seems to take a significant game for there to be a real atmosphere at a ground.

Pieters got too tight on Lacazette and was turned costing us a goal against Arsenal and I’d have to see it again but looks like he’s done the same here whilst lunging at the ball.
A bit of a soft penalty but you always run a risk if you don’t get to the ball first in those situations.
