Agree with all that apart from the last paragraph. I'd have him if he's prepared to play in the Championship. He might be now. I don't imagine he'll drop down. He'll see himself as above that level and will want to pick up as many Netherlands caps as possible. Incredibly he's already amassed 30 cap...

Gotta say this is spin of Alastair Campbell levels. We went into a PL season with Foster as our main striker and Jay Rod as back up. Surely Wout would have been a better option? Cornet proves the business model can work. He was very good for us, without ever playing a full 90 minutes if I remember rightly, and we made a good profit on him after one season. He's barely played a minute since. Why would we even consider going back?

If the four is upheld then we're back in the game. We just need to get above Luton and close the gap on Forest to two points before the final day. I can't see it happening but you never know. The decisions late in the Forest and Luton games are looking more significant though.

The PL's reputation is already a mockery. They categorically will not allow any sanctions to influence the end standings of the league due to the legal shitstorm that would follow.
They're being lenient because they know the big cases are yet to come at City and Chelsea.
