Re: January 2022 Burnley Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion
I might be completely wrong but this reminds me of a match thread when we're getting completely dominated and everyone is having a melt at how naff we've been. And then we sh*thouse a goal and all is forgotten. I think this is one of those moments and we're going to sh*thouse a signing. Well I hope ...

Great team performance - return of the strong jaw?
Collins and Taylor were immense. Brownhill and Cork did an excellent job of keeping Moutinho and Dedonker quiet (two internationals with 166 international caps between them).

9 points from 12 games. 1 win. 6 points from 4 games. 1 win. No losses. You talk as if we're getting battered every game, even though it's evident that we've become bloody hard to beat. We're 13th in the form tables over the last 6 games yet you talk about Dyche having to turn things round. I'd sug...

I think BPF got a lot of unfair stick at the end of last season. At 24 Pope was thrown in at the deep end after Heaton's injury. As Robinson was very much in his twilight, it was effectively sink or swim for Pope (which he did wonderfully, thank god). Pope had an excellent and relatively settled def...

Do you think it's fair that poor people should have to pay extra on their fuel bill to pay subsidies to wealthy land owners so they can put up giant windmills which produce electricity at a far more expensive rate than traditional power stations? I think you mean wind turbines, very easy mistake to...

I'm not wrong on renewables though. They are hideously expensive compared to fossil fuels. You do get the odd article claiming that they are now "cheaper" but they don't take into account the massive subsidies that renewables receive and the taxes that are applied to fossil fuels. Coal, gas & oil s...
