The EU is a club and your not a member. From your tone it appears that was your choice so live with it.

Re: Passport problems

Couple of thoughts: 1. You can't stay more than 90 days in Europe, so we should get '9 years and 9 months! (But we don't) 2. We don't even get 9 years and 6 months because we have to order a new one early and post off our old, active passport. You can order your new passport within 9 months of expi...

Re: International matches with most Burnley links

Screenshot_20240327-190136~2.jpg This is from the Ireland v England Euro 92 qualifier. Unfortunately only 4 Burnley connections made it to the selected 16: Chris Woods, Lee Dixon, Gordon Cowans and Paul Gascoigne. There was a tantalising teaser on the bench, but it was Gary Stevens and not Trevor S...

I believe that the 6 months that had to be left on your passport when your overseas visit ended, has been reduced to 3 months. Whether that's only for certain venues or not I don't know. Also, if your passport was renewed more than 10 months before you go abroad you will not be allowed out of the c...

I knew the 10year/3months rules but nearly got caught out by another highlighted on the bbc.
My full name, on passport, did not match the diminutive on my boarding card.
Quick call to Ryanair this morning and it was amended for free, much to my delight. I was expecting a charge.

Congrats to Rob Page for getting that performance out of those average players. Poland had better all over the field but Wales were the better TEAM. Shame they only have a Championship striker. They deserved better.

Might have had a chance under SD. Stephen Ward, Jon Walters, Shane Duffy, Kevin Long, Robbie Brady, Jeff Hendrick all in Rep of Ireland squads in 2017. Muric starts for Kosovo. So no injury concern for now at least.
Wales v Poland for me tonight. A competitive game rather than a chance to throw caps about. Really ticked off with Mainoo getting caps when he is in his apprenticeship. England caps should be earned.

Didn't watch the game, but the offside law really sucks doesn't it? In my mind, (and every sane football fan), once Endrick carries on running and contributing to the attack, he should be deemed interfering with play He's gained such an advantage by starting his run so early. But no let's concentra...

How is Paqueta still on the pitch? 3 or 4 fouls before he was booked then he deliberately takes Bellingham down from behind, a clear yellow for me.

Cullen gets MoM on Irish tv. Deservedly for me. He does everything he’s asked to do well, winning his challenges and laying off simple balls to teammates if he could find more killer passes, like the one to Vitinho for the pen last week, he’d be a hell of a player.

Soles only.
I’ve had vibram soles on Meindl and Zamberlan amongst others going back to the 90s. I’ve never understood the acclaim they get. I find them very slippy on wet stone, even just walking.

Too young to have seen the best of early 60s but mid 60s, Morgan/Irvine/Lochead/Coates just pips 73-75 and SDs 17-18 side.

Any goalkeeper would have conceded this amount of goals behind our defence and midfield
Very easy to look at that from the other side and say our defence has no confidence in Trafford so don’t know whether to stick or twist.
