Logged on to my son's portal today and were quite shocked to find no work being set for him. Half term or not he hasn't had full days work set for him for the last 9 weeks. Some form of work should be compulsory every day until schools are fully functioning again.

Edwards on Padiham road. - absolutely outstanding bangers.
Barely an ounce of fat comes off them and the smoked bacon is even better. If you cook it Monday the smell is still present on Thursday. Tremendous.

Phase 1 of return to school is manageable with the reported class sizes of 15 but in phase 2 to get all primary children back to school with a maximum class size of 15 not only do most schools need double the space to make it happen, they also need double the teachers. I'm probably being very very thick but someone who tests negative today could test positive in 3 days time because they have carried on with life. How many tests are we really going to need to do daily or weekly to know how many have had or got the disease. It just seems like a great big goose chase...

Football is being highlighted as business before entertainment here and it's not a good advertisement I don't think. I doubt I'd even watch a game behind closed doors on TV it will be worse than watching a pre season friendly against a second rate french team on the turf with 4000 fans in the stands.

Without wanting to get sucked into the Covid19 thread territory, I don't see why kids grassroots football couldn't come back.
