It's about inspiring confidence within the defensive unit.
Unfortunately, he doesn't provide it.
Like most of our squad he is too physically lightweight.

Excellent stuff. The House will have a couple of returning players next season along with a new professional.
Looking forward to the cricket season already with the current state of play with the Clarets on the football.
Still up the Clarets and the House.

Re: Padiham v Isle of Man
I've got out of the habit of watching Padiham. I should make the effort when it is reduced admission for Burnley season ticket holders.
I agree that there is a huge number of incoming & outgoing players and management staff from season to season.

Re: TRAFFORD
Perhaps it might have been a foul but the keeper should have smashed him out of the way once he made the decision to come for it.
Like the majority of our side he is physically weak.
He caught the ball once and flapped at all the rest.

The pub pics were in the Ministry of Ale for a number of years.
They just provide an aspect of days gone by. People pointing at pubs that they used to go in many moons ago
I'm sure that the current owners will keep them safe.

The FA Cup Quarter Final no show at Watford and the subsequent mini bus home where we ended up fighting each other (including the driver) about a beer stop. There are still rifts that have never healed to this day. The defeat at Crewe in 1987 looked like we deserved to go out of the league. My first...

At that time Inglish went deeper into the the history and architecture of British football grounds that had ever been covered. Not so long later he produced a guide to the Stadiums of Europe.
He foresaw how stadiums would be in the future.

Re: Oddies
There are some enlightening posts on the thread. Places that Oddies are still out there are limited to the East Lancs area and some have gone by the wayside, the one in the arcade in Accy being an example. I don't use Gregg's because they do shortcust pastry instead of the flaky pastry you get at Od...

Re: How to attach photos on a thread from an iPad.
I came from the days of taking pics on a camera, downloading to a PC, then using some free software to obtain a URL and finally copy & paste into the thread. Nowadays you don't even need a camera. Your phone is likely to be good enough without the need for a camera body, lenses, batteries, SD cards....

I regularly get a Corned Beef/Cheese and onion pasty/ Savoury from Oddies. Yes, the prices are a bit steep but you get the quality. I've not been to Gregg's in decades. There must have been a time in the past where something was wrong. I love the flaky pastry at Oddies but still assume that Gregg's ...

Check that the TEATime pub is open on the Monday and showing the game. It's a stroll from the centre. There are a good few bars within a stones throw of the main square which will have it on, however, you won't get a pint of real ale. Prior to the game the best bet is going to one of the Bania Luka ...
