You're right Billy, the selfish me me me attitude has been endemic in this country for around 40 years now and we compare really badly to the majority of civilised nations in this respect, the reasons why would fill an adeola friday style thread but as a society we've got to look at how there are re...

Re: Do Boro fancy taking Gibson back

Whilst outwardly the Gibson signing has proved disastrous, it may well have pushed the performance level of Ben Mee up, given the standard of competition he had, this of course is unquantifiable.

Been unlucky Gibson but hey ho.

As our possession stats demonstrate, we are reliant on efficient players when we don't have the ball, this is where Jeff excels as he tends to shut down the opposition's left hand side. It's not aesthetically pleasing but it's absolutely vital in executing our game plan. I share some other posters f...

Would imagine that’s your lot for Shacks. A very good left sided centre back who proved to be one of the best in the Championship, a little bit obsessed by what people thought of him by all accounts.

We need to allow fans in with 7000 points and above first, the proper fans, those elite fans who’ve been there and done it. No glory hunters or fly by nighters, what we need is a kind of Burnley Leibstandarte or Uber fans brigade.

JW Lees was utter trench water, an outrage of a pint.

When i was at Birmingham Uni lakedistrict/Vino, Davenports was very popular alongside the ubiquitous M&B. It wasn't bad in a decent boozer like the Lazy Fox.

I agree with dushanbe, a very wise man who i know from the dinners you allude to above CT.

The budget for the youth set up must be astronomical now compared to 2006, so i agree with the foodbank scenario where the money will go into helping people who really need it.

Interesting that you mention the U boats lakedistrict, some of them were still a threat after VE day as they didn't know that Doenitz had surrendered.

Reminds me of the Japanese soldier who was discovered in the early 70's i think on a remote island, who wasn't aware that the war had ended !
