Doesn't this just prove that if you give some clubs access to unlimited amounts of money that they buy better footballers? You don't have to build a team around one player if you can afford to buy the best player in the world in every position.

They either need an equivalent of Umpires Call for offsides or just apply the "clear and obvious" rule. a toe offside isn't clear and obvious either way so just stick with the on-field decision. Llorente's goal last night wasn't a clear and obvious handball so allow it and move on.

We lived in Windsor for a while and were right under the flight path into Heathrow. We left when my eldest was 1 to move back up north but he's quite proud of the fact that he has seen Concorde fly.

Hart, Wells and Crouch need to go. Pope will be sold.

I thought Taylor was torn a new one by Traore. His one-footedness meant he had to stay really narrow so Traore had the freedom of the park to get past him on the outside. It's a good job he can't cross a ball.
