I was fine with it because I assumed that it meant Tella was about to be announced. It appears nothing is imminent so it's a bit misguided and unprofessional, in my opinion. But not the end of the world either.

Probably. Am I right in thinking players under 18 can't wear a gambling sponsor? So if a 17-year-old was to break into our first team, they'd have a different shirt with no sponsor (or a different sponsor)?ŽižkovClaret wrote: ↑Mon Jul 24, 2023 7:30 pmYou're not wrong, but id imagine that's more for players than punters

A mate has told me that it's possible to request a shirt "from the supplier" without a sponsor if the sponsor is a betting company. "They have to do it because of religious beliefs etc". I've not heard of this before. Is this true or is he talking rubbish?

I think it's less common than it used to be. I think people are, on average, having children later nowadays -- often well into their 30s as opposed to 20s. As a result, grandparents are generally older. I'm sure I was looked after by my grandparents a bit as a child. My wife certainly was looked aft...

Yep, my first thought on seeing it was "Villa". Only normal when you combine the colours and the sponsor. I don't mind it overall but, then again, I haven't bought a Burnley shirt in at least a decade so I suppose it doesn't really matter what I think!
