I don’t think Costelloe pulled up any trees at League Two Bradford City last season so he should be nowhere near a Prem squad at this stage.

We obviously had a shortlist of keepers - doesn't mean we were going to sign each and every one. Some don't come off (Verbruggen for example) so they had alternative targets. They're playing the market the right way.

£19m for Trafford ? What the !!! Its rumoured at £12m plus £7m addons but here is the real kicker its also rumoured there will be a 20% sell on clause and a buy back option for City. I can't really understand why we gave up on Butez after missing out on Verbruggen and what about the Barcelona keepe...

Stokes may become a dilemma. He’s the captain and the man behind this new style (along with McCullum) but he rarely bowls now because of his knee and his batting has been patchy.
