If anybody has watched The Gentlemen on Netflix, Guy Ritchie’s new series, you will have seen Theo James’ performance. I personally think he’d make a great Bond.

Probably the right age at 39 as Daniel Craig was about 38 or 39 when he first played the role.

Vitinho takes a run up as though he’s going to throw like Rory Delap used to do for Stoke. He takes a long run up, but then rather than drag a foot to make sure his body is still moving forward he stops with two feet together, negating the need to have made the run up at all. It’s weird to watch.

I watched his videos after being linked and was convinced he’d be good for us. His aerial presence and aggression into the tackle is sorely needed. Another issue is the menu, or lack of. Don’t get me wrong I generally know what we do because we don’t do much, but where there used to be a menu above the window is now a rolling advertisement. You can see people stood there waiting for it to roll around to a mess, which it never does.

I don’t expect us to walk the Championship, and it’ll be interested which players have to be sold, but the squad as it is now should definitely be top 6, and likely top 3.

We’ve got some exciting young players that need a bit of time and experience. They’re not ready for the Premier League yet.

When we get corners we’d be best setting the players up in our half read for a goal kick, and then just putting the ball out of play. It’d save time and reduce the risk of a break away.
