Last time I went out New Years was the millenium. Was on a high after Peyts got his hat trick with Jimmy Mac predicting the promotion to the Championship that season. Staying home with a bottle of wine and a Disaronno or two to follow ! In my pj's , perfect !☺

If you like Greek food you will be in your element in Thess., some of the best food anywhere in Greece ! Plenty of fast food places ( gyros, Bougatsa etc ) , loads of cafe bars. Ladadika area best for food and bars, touristy yes but also lots of locals aswell. I would tend to avoid The Dubliner pub ...

Just finished reading this tonight. It's one of those books that I could have devoured a lot quicker, but made myself put it down every so often ! Excellent read , especially the last few chapters which made me feel quite emotional.

Maybe have a look at James Joyce Irish Pub just off Monastiraki, they have sports screens as well as food and good beers.

Avoid Omonia Square, and keep your money safe if you use the metro!!!

Someone suggested " Forever in Blue Jeans " ( Burnley ) on here for a club anthem. Think it would sound awesome IF it was to a decent beat . Maybe sung with a slow " arm clap " as in the Iceland manner might slow the speed singers down a bit !!!!!!!!!!
